There are plenty of ways of fundraising for us, with individual challenges, company events or donations to name but a few. Take a look at what is happening right now in terms of raising funds.
The Southern Co-operative’s new food store on Forest Road, Binfield has chosen Home_Start Bracknell Forest for its community engagement programme, ‘Love Your Neighbourhood’. This initiative addresses four key social themes, as identified by a survey of over 4,000 members and colleagues, for promoting: ‘Greener Neighbourhoods’, ‘Healthier Neighbourhoods’, ‘Safer Neighbourhoods’, and ‘More Inclusive Neighbourhoods’. We received a cheque for £500 when the store was officially opened and hope to work together on other events and fundraising.
Corporate sponsorship can bring many benefits to a company and even small donations can make a big difference to our scheme. If your company would like to contribute to the work of Home-Start Bracknell Forest we would love to hear from you! We would also be happy to come and speak to your staff about the role we play and how they could help. In the past, companies have sponsored special events such as our children’s Christmas party, or they have made an unrestricted donation which we put towards our core work. Can you help by sponsoring us? Please contact us.
Over the last year we have also had the following people raising money for us.

The challenge was completed on 1st July in Wales in an impessive 27 hours and they raised around £4,500 between them!
